Pakistan Floods Appeal

Monsoon rains in Pakistan these recent weeks have led to devastating situations with at least 500 deaths, many of which are young children and women. Critical infrastructure like highways, bridges and around 5,600 homes have been either partially or completely destroyed.

According to the country's minister for climate change the rains this year have been 87 percent heavier than the average downpour. This high volume of rainfall has caused flooded roads and have caused immeasurable chaos for residents.
